December 29, 1932    The Healing – Diagnosis: Inflammation of Leg

A sick person came to hospital with an inflammation of the leg. The pain was unbearable! It did not help him any mitigation. The x-ray showed that it was Tuberculosis of the bones. The Doctor decided to operate his leg to help him. A Sister hearing these words decided to pray a Novena to our dear Foundress. In the morning of the ninth day of the Novena – it was First Friday – the sick person received the Eucharist and said that he has no more pain. The healing cannot be explained in a natural way.

November 15, 1932   The Healing of a Five-month Old Boy, Franz Tabourean;
Diagnosis: Colisepsia

Five-month old Franz was very seriously ill and on November 11, 1931 doctors gave up hope for his cure. The community of Sisters decided to pray the Novena to Mother Alphonse Marie. They prayed three times “Our Fathers”, “Hail Marys”, and “Glories”. They expressed gratitude to God for the graces granted to their Foundress – her personally, as well as the whole Congregation.
On November 14, 1931 the doctor left the boy’s room with the words that the boy will pass in a half hour. Despite this state, the boy still lived on the second day. Sister Valesia, who took care of him, saw that it was his last hour. This condition lasted until evening. When the parents left the room there was an improvement. The boy got well, started to take fluids, and in a short time he was completely healed.

It is necessary to notice that when the Sisters ended the Novena, the boy unceasingly cried – day and night without knowing the cause. The family prayed again the Novena to Mother Alphonse Marie, but this time as a thanksgiving to God. Then the boy calmed down.

May 13, 1932   Diagnosis: Double Pneumonia

Mr. T. (42) was admitted to the hospital on March 12, 1932, with double Pneumonia. His body temperature was 104.9 F°. This temperature lasted for 10 days despite treatment. The condition of the patient got hopeless. The patient received the Sacraments of Anointing the Sick and Reconciliation. His condition was even worse. The Doctor gave him 48 hours to live. The Sisters started to pray with the sick the Novena to Mother Alphonse Marie. The patient‘s temperature was 104.5°. The next day his temperature dropped to 100.9° and still dropped to 99.5°. The Doctor was really surprised and said that it was direct miracle. It was supernatural interference that can be perceived as grace.

February 27, 1932   Diagnosis: Septicemia of Left Shoulder

Florenz (37), a war invalid, suffered from tuberculosis in the left shoulder. On November 23, 1931, even the Surgeon opened his shoulder, he suffered much. The bone fell apart due to the intense pus formation. The Doctor ordered surgery on December 21st, which was moved to December 23, 1931. The condition of the patient got worse. The Sisters started to pray the Novena to our Foundress to seek out the healing of the sick or at least the rescue of his shoulder. After two days of prayers, the patient got better and pain eased. Some days later, the doctor stated that the bone grew again. After the shoulder’s x-rays on February 27, 1932, the doctor excluded surgery and noted improvement. The sick recovered soon.
