Prayer for Resisting Temptation

“My Divine Spouse, how the thoughts of pride, vanity, and egoism penetrate me? Do not allow me, my Love, to constantly deepen Your passion. Jesus, have mercy on me and help me to know Your will! You see, my Divine Spouse that I do not know myself at all.

Mary, my Mother, intercede for me that I may know all of my affections. I won’t stop to ask you.

Jesus, if You won’t hear me You have to hear Your Mother whom I won’t leave because I want to know in everything only Your holy will. I want to give up everything and put aside everything that displeases You. I no longer want to listen to myself but only You.”
